Naked Mouse Snob

Yesterday was quite a day for me.  There was a mouse in one of the drawers at work (I also work as an Oracle Database Admin) and I interrupted it and scared both of us half to death.  :)   So, I decided to write a letter to my supervisor – but I wanted it to be one of those letters that would get noticed, rather than just be added to the “complaints” pile.  I quickly “penned” with my keyboard (can you really do that?) a satirical letter to my supervisor about the Naked Mouse problem.

Letter to God

This was emailed to me, but I didn’t want to lose it, or the message:

This is one of the kindest things I’ve ever experienced. I have no way to know who sent it, but there is a kind soul working in the dead letter office of the US postal service…

Our 14 year old dog, Abbey, died last month. The day after she died, my 4 year old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey. She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her. I told her that I thought we could, so she dictated these words:

Dear God,

Will you please take care of my dog? She died yesterday and is with you in heaven. I miss her very much. I am happy that you let me have her as my dog even though she got sick. I hope you will play with her. She likes to play with balls and to swim. I am sending a picture of her so when you see her You will know that she is my dog. I really miss her.

Love, Meredith

Abbey

We put the letter in an envelope with a picture of Abbey and Meredith and addressed it to God/Heaven. We put our return address on it. Then Meredith pasted several stamps on the front of the envelope Because she said it would take lots of stamps to get the letter all the way to heaven. That afternoon she dropped it into the letter box at the post office. A few days later, she asked if God had gotten the letter

Yes. I told her that I thought He had.

Yesterday, there was a package wrapped in gold paper on our front porch addressed, “To Meredith” in an unfamiliar hand. Meredith opened it. Inside was a book by Mr. Rogers called, “When a Pet Dies.” Taped to the inside front cover was the letter we had written to God in its opened envelope. On the opposite page was the picture of Abbey & Meredith and this note:

Dear Meredith,

Abbey arrived safely in heaven. Having the picture was a big help. I recognized Abbey right away. Abbey isn’t sick anymore. Her spirit is here with me just like it stays In your heart. Abbey loved being your dog. Since we don’t need our bodies in heaven, I don’t have any pockets to keep your picture in, so I am sending it back to you in this little book for you to keep and have something to remember Abbey by.

Thank you for the beautiful letter and thank your mother for helping you write it and sending it to me. What a wonderful mother you have. I picked her especially for you. I send my blessings every day and remember that I love you very much. By the way, I am wherever there is love.

Love, God

Never Alone

I was out looking at some of my favorite sites and came across a beautiful article that shows just what an intergral part of our human lives our Dogs are. The article, Never Alone, is the account of a woman coming to terms with the beginning stages of Alzhiemer’s. That’s a terrifying dis-ease, but here is one case of what appears to be a clear communication from her Dog to her.  This looks like one soul speaking to another, consoling it, soothing it, sharing the sorrow, and ultimately, leading the hurting soul to find a healing place – just by being a Dog.

I really believe that Dog is the reverse of God for a reason – it gives the Creator-Being a “back door” so to speak to remind humans of Creator’s innate goodness.  The “back door” is the unconditional pure love a human soul accepts from a trusted Animal Companion.

The Beginning

There must always be a beginning and this is a good time to start another. Beginnings are funny, though, because they never really were beginnings to begin with! They were more like the beginning of taking action, rather than a true beginning. The real beginning took place long before now, in thoughts. Sometimes the thoughts are conscious. Sometimes they bubble up from your unconscious.

This particular beginning came from my unconscious.

I had a dream in August 2007 (I’d have to look up the date, though I do have it in my dream diary), about the middle of the month, when it was really hot and you couldn’t sleep well anyway. In the dream, I was shown by my Spirit Guide how to capture thought (telepathy) and record it. I thought it was an odd dream and decided to write down as much as I could recall. I’m so glad I did.

From that dream, thoughts kept poking at me as I’d go through the day until, near the end of August on a Friday night, I wrote out what I should do with this information I’d been gifted with. It was clear that it was to help Animals; and that’s been my own personal “destiny” for as long as I can recall. I’m *here* to help the Animals. So, I wrote down and planned out what I’d be projecting to my listeners, then slept on it.

I got another message that night. Record it. Publish it. Produce it. Release it.

And so Furheads.com was truly born. It was the following day that I did indeed record my first version. I recorded four versions before I got to the publish/produce it part of the message! I had strangers test it out and report back what the results were. It was very uncomfortable to figure out how to describe what I was doing and even more uncomfortable to tell them the origins were from a dream! The people who did want to test always gave me sort of a side-long look that seemed to hold a whole year’s worth of evaluation in it. Is she crazy or just convinced? Daft or is this inspired genius?

The next thing I could see flashing across their faces was, “If it works, do I care?”  And there was my opening!  :)

So, they agreed, tested, and got some astounding results.  (If you haven’t read the comments on Cancer Clear from Sandy in the Dog section, it’s well worth your time!)  I myself, even thought it was divinely inspired, was shocked at the results, too!  SO PLEASED, but I was surprised just the same.

Best of all, I got the opportunity to help Animals!  I’m really a “Dog Person,” as you can probably tell from the enormous amount of products  I have for Dogs, but I do like all Animals.  It’s just that, in my heart and soul, I have a deep respect and almost a reverence for Dogs.  They are so inspirational for me, every day!

I wrote a little spot for the front page, and it goes into the science behind how this stuff happens.  It’s all physics and really *deep* science, which I’m fascinated by, and admit that I do study it as a hobby.  But, really, all the science in the world doesn’t come close to describing what I’ve got in each of these recordings.

What is in the recordings?  Well.  Visualizations.  Reiki.  Quantum Touch.  Pranic Healing.  Hypnotic language and pictures.  Telepathy (including the images, words, tactile sensations, a wide range of emotions).  Chakra cleansing.  But really, what it all boils down to, in a small word is L-O-V-E.  Yah, it sounds corny and all that country-bumpkin stuff, and that’s just the way it needs to be.  I can tell you all the “stuff” and “processes” I used in these recordings for the Animals of the world, but they don’t sum up what the whole thing is about better than that one word.  Love.

I really do hope that things, what ever it is you and your Animal Companion are working on, that they come into alignment with your Animal Spirit’s best intentions.  No one (I believe) starts out a journey to experience “life” with the intentions of being miserable.  I believe that miserableness only occurs when we get out of alignment with our original intention – our “destiny.”

I’m so excited that you’re here!
